Aquatic plants play a very important role in the eco-system of your pond. The ongoing process in your pond is know as the nitrogen cycle. Without plants there is a major link missing in the nitrogen cycle chain. Plants take up available nutrients in the water that algae may use to flourish. The effective use of plants in your pond will help ensure clear algae-free water.

All of our aquatic plants are grown at our own greenhouse and nursery by our Michigan State University Horticulture graduate. Each plant is carefully inspected and pruned before sale or installation. We carry a wide variety of floating plants, submerged plants, marginal plants, lilies, and tropical plants. Lotus' coming soon!
